People who post first kick ass. Seriously, just like this guy.

As you can see from this photograph, in china safety is the number one priority on the road.In China, Safety is Number One

Testla Motors is now taking orders for what is basically the ultimate electric guitar. The pitfalls of other electrics such as sluggish performance, ugly looks and limited range seem to have all been solved for this car. This puppy boast 0-60 in 4 seconds, 200 miles per charge and averages out to about 1 cent per gallon.

This car seems excellent. I’m wondering what kind of reliability we will see with these batteries though. How long will they hold a charge, and when they stop charging properly how much is a replacement going to be? I’m willing to bet an absolute shitload.

Also the question must be asked, for the price of this car, how many miles would you have to drive before it even saves you a dime. My bet is if you are looking to save money this car is definitely not the choice for you, at least not yet.

Regardless I’m very interested to see what owners of this car say when they become more readily available.

For those of you who don’t know Ali G is the same person who acts the character Borat. This stuff is pretty damn funny. Here’s a video of him interviewing a couple of environmentalists.

Duke Nukem Forever has basically turned into a huge e-joke as the symbol and champion of vaporware. After over 10 years some thrilling news has surfaced!

According to Voood Extreme Duke Nukem Forever is going to be featured in the July issues of PC gamer.

Remember those slick decoder rings you played with as a kid? How you sent indecipherable notes to your best friend about how gross that girl sitting next to you was? Well, at PC Gamer, we love secrets, and since we always have our well-trained, doctor-like hands on the pulse of the gaming industry, we’ll have some tasty inside info for you next month. Is Duke Nukem Forever finally being released? Hey, it could happen.

This is pretty big news as 3D realms said they would not be publicizing the game until it was 6 months-year away from release. As hard as it is for me to say, we might be playing Duke Nukem Forever Christmas 2007!

Update: A post on Shacknews from George has some rather disappointing information!

I have no idea what tasty info they could be talking about. Someone at PCG feel free to contact me - I’m curious :)

The more and more we talk about it, the more I’m pretty sure we’ll lead off with releasing our own videos of the game, then do press after that. We’ll see, but thats certainly the prevailing attitude internally.

Bleh.

A while back Top Gear did a review of the monster Mustang, the Shelby GT 500. Check it out on Youtube:

I can’t say that I am thoroughly impressed with their review. In the opening segment they state that they reviewed the new Mustang in the past and it was ‘lame’, yet when during their original review they actually praised it as cool and said there as a lot to love about the car, contradictions much?

Also in the review they go on to talk about the Mustang being rated at over 500hp but only producing 450 on a dyno. You would think the producers and makers would know the difference between advertised horsepower and wheel horsepower. In fact I suspect they do, but as usual this was another reason for Top Gear to slander an American car. Auto makers never advertise the actual power at the wheels, they advertise what the engine makes. Power is absorbed through the driveline before it hits the wheels, generally between 15-20%, so the dyno rwhp numbers on a car will always be lower, yet top gear lists the Mustang not putting down the advertised horsepower as a negative feature of the car.

This review is what’s lame. I love Top Gear, but their anti-american car bias does show at times.

Every now and again I come across a video that is so stupid I simply have to share it.

What can I really say? This is the grand opening of F-insweet.com.
